Sports Reporter. Writer. Host. Sideline Reporter.

About Me

Kristy Ann Robinson (born April 2, 1985) is a sports reporter. She was born and raised in East Liverpool, Ohio where she grew up playing softball, soccer and ran track.

After attending Kent State University for two years, Kristy moved to Los Angeles, California, where she attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. It was there in L.A. that Kristy got her feet wet in the entertainment industry by acting on Television shows and movie sets.

Kristy spent four years in California before moving back in late 2009 to attain a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She spent a year blogging for several websites before getting her first job as a beat reporter covering the Pittsburgh Pirates for the 2011 campaign for Ohio Valley Athletics. Kristy then covered the Pirates for the 2012 season for Pirates Prospects. In her two seasons as a beat reporter, Kristy was responsible for writing daily game recaps, features, breaking news stories and notebooks. She also had pre-game and post-game interviews with the Pirates players as well as the team manager. Kristy also traveled for Major League coverage, spring training, as well as several times a month for features on top prospects in the Pittsburgh system.

Kristy is also a freelance writer for Baseball Prospectus.

Interests

I love to travel. I'm allergic to gluten and dairy, so generally have a pretty healthy diet. I love to workout and do yoga. I'm a huge sports junkie so when I'm not covering games, I like to attend them as a fan. I always wear red lipstick and believe everyday should be filled with laughter and love.
